Obsidian is known for attracting and retaining top talent in processor verification. We are always accepting applications for internship positions, which coincide with the spring and fall semesters. Qualified applicants should be able to demonstrate valid coursework or proficiency in several of the following areas:
- computer architecture
- embedded systems design
- integrated circuits and applications
- microprocessor based system design
- digital signal processing
- hardware debugging
- GUI development and aspects of usability
In addition, preferred applicants will have developed skills in the following programming languages:
- C++
- Python
- architecture specific assembly language (e.g. ARM, MIPS, etc.)
- verification languages, such as VHDL, System Verilog, or System C
