With Obsidian’s test creation services, you can begin testing faster. There are no new tools to learn and no additional interfaces to configure. Obsidian’s staff of verification engineers can use RAVEN to create vast numbers of tests, specifically authored for your architecture and verification phase. Tests created with RAVEN are designed to interface with your existing workflow, giving you more input stimulus with no additional weight in software. Because RAVEN knows the rules of your architecture, your team will save time by generating only valid test sequences.
Begin Testing Sooner
Many organization want to begin verification as soon as the first logical unit of RTL becomes available. However, the tool-chain (i.e. assembler, linker, compiler, etc.) often lags behind RTL development and architectural changes, creating a bottleneck in verification. RAVEN generated tests allow verification teams to completely bypass this problem and begin identifying functional errors before the tool-chain is implemented.
Methodology
Obsidian’s processor verification methodology is built into every test sequence created. We catch simple errors early, before they lead to more complex problems. Our process begins by testing your processor design in the simplest possible configuration and gradually incorporating the inclusion of more advanced architectural features. Our technical staff then authors RAVEN test templates specifically looking for errors that can lurk in the dark recesses of your design.
