Obsidian: Adding Value to Business Continuity

In recent months, the many benefits of having a smart monitoring platform like Obsidian have become apparent. One of them is its ability to add value to business continuity, both in the risk analysis and evaluation phase, as well as in crisis management and business continuity events.

Wanting to go deeper into this topic, our collaborator Uxía Fernández, from Ozona Consulting, will give the webinar “Obsidian: Adding Value to Business Continuity” next Wednesday, April 8, at 4:00 p.m.

The event, framed within the itSMF Spain Tools Course 2021, will be in Spanish and will last 45 minutes.

HOW CAN OBSIDIAN BE USEFUL IN BUSINESS CONTINUITY

The webinar will show examples of how to use Obsidian in business continuity:

  • Identification of an organization’s processes and activities affected by the outage of IT services.
  • Identification and evaluation of IT continuity risks.
  • Crisis management: Dashboard aimed at upper management, for the control of the recovery of IT services after a continuity event.

Regarding crisis management and business continuity events, the webinar will show how to carry out damage assessment, though not focused on IT systems but on business processes and activities, analyzing their dependencies. In addition, it will explain how upper management can follow the evolution of the recovery in business terms online. Specifically, they can see this via a graphical representation of which processes are in the recovery phase and which ones are still pending. This facilitates crisis management and can be useful for delivering statements to clients based on the most current information.

If you are interested in participating, you can sign up through the BrightTalk platform, where all webinars also remain stored for future use.
